Three rooms in one.
I've worked remotely since 2010 and have learned over the years that:
A) It's difficult to feel productive or professional when cramming a desk into a living room or bedroom, and
B) I do not like to see my work space after business hours.
This was the solution to creating a clear distinction between work time and personal time when living in a one-bedroom apartment near downtown Tulsa for a year —
A murphy wall bed transformed this room into a bedroom by night, while this canvas-art-piece-turned-flip-down-standing-desk made for a lovely office with a view by day.
When both the bed and the desk were stowed away, we had an extra bonus room for lounging.
Corner media cabinet + dog bed
When my husband and I decided to bring a dog home to our tiny 350 sq ft cottage, we were thrilled to welcome Louie into our lives but not so thrilled about the potential clutter. Combining function was my solution for saving space.

Trapezoid table for built-in diner booth
My inner child was behind the scenes when I designed the entire floor plan of the Mountain Grove House around the ability to have a diner booth in the kitchen.
This trapezoid table concept is intended to save space, provide easy access in and out of the booth, all while seating six people comfortably.
